LEADERSHIP-IN-TRAINING (LIT) PROGRAM
at
TREFOIL ACADEMY OF MAGERY AND SORCERY:
THE SUMMER SESSION 2025 (LOST ONES)

Please note this is not your typical TASS experience. You are still a camper! You are not staff/associate professor/CIT.

While LITs will still be encountering some adventurers and quests, this entire journey is going to be centered on learning various leadership skills in a fun and small group setting before going out into the camp and practicing those skills.

Program goal: Participants will leave motivated and ready to use these skills in order to build stronger relationships as well as help them to set and achieve their goals. They will also gain a better understanding of the different roles that make up a summer camp.

Who Is This Intended For: This program is for those who feel they are ready to close the chapter on their student adventuring days but are not yet able/not quite sure if they want to be staff. Individuals should have a strong desire to become a stronger leader.

What Are You Getting Into:
Please be advised that the program uses a “learn it/now do it/debrief on it” model as participants learn about the 12 core leadership skills. What you put into this program is what you will get out of it. You will be expected to actively engage with the material.

If you:

  • Do not like receiving feedback

  • Are not interested in growing as a leader

  • Hate trying new things

Then this program is not recommended for you. Please be advised that we not have the ability to switch you back over to an adventurer mode at the same program. Please be sure you want to do this. You can return to being an adventurer in future years.

Please note: Our camper’s safety and well-being is our top priority. Campers who engage in the following behaviors at camp will not be allowed to remain: consistently withholding food, purging, self-harming, being deceptive with staff (such as lying or deliberately hiding information), struggling to stay with their group, refusing to follow instructions and/or camp policies, expressing suicidal thoughts, sleep walking, or exhibiting any other behaviors that the director feels jeopardize their safety and well-being. No refunds will be issued.
