While our theme focuses on a magical world, there’s another kind of magic at work at camp that’s worth mentioning. This magic is unique to camp; you can’t see or touch it, but everyone feels it. It’s indescribable, yet unmistakable once you’ve experienced it. At camp, time bends—a minute can feel like an hour, and a week can pass in the blink of an eye. The only clock that matters is when meals are served.

It’s a place where strangers quickly become best friends, and friends become family. Tests and homework take a backseat to more pressing matters— like who gets called to dinner first or who’s on kaper duty. Adults start water fights instead of stopping them. Dancing in the rain and splashing in puddles isn’t childish, it’s encouraged. Here, imagination runs wild, free from judgment. Complex disagreements are solved with rock-paper-scissors or “not-it”, and mistakes just required whoops

At camp, you’ll do the impossible, then help others do the same. It’s a place where you can be your truest self, even if you’re still figuring out who that is. And this camp magic lingers in your heart long after camp ends. It’s so powerful that you’ll gladly dedicate your year to recapturing it, both for yourself and for others to experience once more.
