Embark on an epic adventure!

STEP 1: IS THIS A GOOD MATCH?

WHY: Having a good match is key to you having a great experience so we wish to be up front with what we are and what we are not. Please check this list before completing an RSVP ticket.

If you are someone who:

  • loves the idea of designing, and pretending to be that character for the entire time aka LARPing.

  • loves the concept of going on adventures and having numerous options to explore in a sandbox environment

  • enjoys solving mysteries and finding clues

  • loves using their imagination

  • tolerates large groups that can get loud

  • follows instructions and rules consistently

  • engages independently in good hygiene/self-care practices with little to no reminders.

Then you are in the right place!

If you are an individual who:

  • dislikes using your imagination and constantly pretending

  • dislikes following rules from authority figures

  • struggles with high temperatures (the site has shade and fans, but no AC) and prefer being indoors or sedentary. You will want to be able to walk up to three miles daily over uneven terrain (including hills and rocks) in high heat.

  • struggles to self-control frustrations or is prone to emotional outbursts

  • needs constant reminders regarding good hygiene and self-care practices

  • dislikes being around others, staying in a group, or being away from home/technology

  • struggles with harmful behaviors (e.g., self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders) within the months before camp

  • experiences a sleepwalking incident in the past six months. If you have a sleepwalking incident in the past year, please notify the camp director. You will need to have your physician sign off on our sleepwalking care form.

This program is not for you. Please reach out to Ash, and she can recommend some alternatives. She knows of a network of different camps.

Step 2 - Temporary RSVP Your Slot In The Tier System:

Benefits of Our System:

  • The process removes uncertainty. At other camps, individuals may try for years to get in without success. Our tier system eliminates the uncertainty of "if" and morphs it into a "when."

  • RSVPing is free. (Payment is only required if you are awarded a slot. Individuals are prompted to pay under Step 2.)

  • RSVPing is fast. It will take you less than 3 minutes. You can cancel your RSVP at any time by emailing trefoilacademy@gmail.com.

  • Respects your time. You no longer have to rush when completing camp registration forms. TASS fills up quickly, and we understand that guardians have busy schedules. Our system provides two weeks of breathing room, so you don’t have to rush filling out forms and gathering records that are crucial for us to provide the best care for your adventurer. Furthermore, it limits what you have to complete to what is absolutely needed.

Reserve your spot now for free! Tier 1 is now closed. Please use Tier 3. Submit a Tier 2 RSVP Ticket Submit a Tier 3 RSVP Ticket
  • You are strongly encouraged to submit a RSVP ticket once the link is live and not wait for the start of the tier.

  • Any tickets received before the start of the tier are processed on midnight of that tier's starting date.

  • Please submit a separate RSVP ticket for each individual. No substitutions are allowed.

  • Accidentally RSVP to the wrong tier? We got you! We will move your ticket to the correct tier without any further action required on your part and send you an email to let you know that we did that.

Step 3 - Receive Confirmation:

Once your assigned tier officially starts, you will receive an email from trefoilacademy@gmail.com letting you know that you have been awarded a temporary slot and what your student ID number is. You will also receive a link to the Adventurer’s Compendium.

Adventurer’s Compendium will contain a link to:

  • all of the forms (e.g. registration, post enrollment)

  • important documents (e.g. packing list, orientation packet, grimoire)

  • specific information associated with you (e.g. student tower type, student tower assignment, arrival and departure times, dorm faculty, elective assignments). While no names will be associated with the information on the sheet, you and your family will be able to look this up by the student ID number.

IMPORTANT: You will then have two weeks to complete your registration and pay under Step 3. Failure to complete your registration will result in losing your temporary slot. You may still seek to enroll again; however, it will be a first come, first serve basis.

Step 4 - Complete Your Registration

  • IMPORTANT: Registration is now the only time to make a buddy request. The guardian and camper must attest that the camper is not in a romantic relationship with the requested buddy. Romantic partners are not permitted to live in the same tower.

If a relationship does occur before/during camp, the camp needs to be contacted immediately so the individual may be moved and an addendum to the behavior contract is signed.

  • IMPORTANT: Guardians will select their camper’s housing option (e.g. female tower, male tower, gender inclusive tower). If for some reason we are unable to accommodate the housing selection, you will be notified of being added to our wait-list.
